I am so excited that spring has finally sprung. I am able to get out of my apartment and ride my bike, run, read a book at the park, etc. Spring means so many things to many. This year spring came in late it seems. Normally its warm enough to be outside in March, but this year in Indiana we had to wait until almost May to be able to enjoy nature. One place that I thoroughly enjoy is Mill Race Park in Columbus, IN. The park has a lot of great things to explore and take in. The Flat Rock and Driftwood Rivers run along side the park and give great scenery along the walking and biking trails. In the middle of the park is a small pond with a covered bridge. The pond has a walking trail around it and plenty of space for sitting and enjoying the vitamin d. I enjoy taking lots of pictures of wildflowers and architecture and Mill Race Park has it all. You will see in my featured photo the amounts of clovers and wildflowers that cover the grass. Now that I am out of hibernation I will continue to post about my outdoor adventures. I challenge everyone to go explore somewhere new and take in the sites and smells of spring!
